Vermont Forests
Along Kelly Stand Road near East Arlington, in southern Vermont. On a rainy autumn day in New England, there are few better places to be than a Vermont forest - assuming you have a camera and a tripod with you. A major rainstorm had come through a little earlier, causing Roaring Brook to roar more than usual.

Lincoln Gap Road, near Bristol in central Vermont. Though only early October, trees here were already starting to drop their leaves.

Lincoln Gap Road, near Warren. This part of the road near the gap is steep, making for dramatic drop-offs from the road.

Mount Tabor - Weston Road, in southern Vermont. Though the drive this day was very pretty, I wasn’t expecting to find a place to stop until happening across this waterfall near the road.
