Magic Kingdom
These are not your typical Disney photographs. While I do take many standard family photos whenever I visit Disney World, I also take time to photograph details of the theme parks - just as I photograph details of sites in China. It is those little details that make a place memorable, and Disney parks have a level of detail rivaling and exceeding that of many historical sites. These pages show some of that detail. Pete’s garage, in Toontown. As with the wood and shingles in the previous photograph, the weathering of the building siding is intentional.
Pastel colors, even on the shingles - and hearts, even in the window frame - at the country house of Minnie Mouse in Toontown. The flowers match the house in color.
The country house of Mickey Mouse. As with Minnie’s country house and other structures in Toontown, the windows and doors look as if they’re about to burst, and few straight lines can be found here.
Fence, finial and flowers in front of Mickey’s country house in Toontown. As with Minnie’s place, the flowers here match the house in color.
